I am graduated from the University of
Orléans (France) in Computer Science and Management (MIAGE). I received my Master degree (DEA) in the specific field of Languages, Programming and Translation from the University of Orléans. I did a PhD in
Natural Language Processing at both the New University of Lisbon (Portugal) and the University of Orléans. Finally, I received my HDR (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches)
from the University of Orléans.
Since October 2011, I am Full Professor at the Department of
Computer Science of the University of Caen Normandie in Caen (France) where I teach most subjects related to Natural Language Processing and
Information Retrieval. I am also responsible for the Master degree on Image and Text (IMALANG).
I am a researcher at the GREYC UMR CNRS 6072 Laboratory in the
the Human Language Technology Team (HULTECH), which I was the head from 2012 to 2016.
My research interests involve Lexical Semantics (Ontologies, Distributional Semantics, Multiword Units), Text Mining (Textual Entailment, Summarization),
Information Retrieval (Mobile, Temporal, Meta-search, Image, Personalization, Collaboration) and Discourse Analysis (Sentiment Analysis).
